Here’s the ‘About Us’ scoop:

Paul Edney was an ordinary guy living in London England with his family, putting all his energy into 12 hour days at his company, achieving a successful career.

But a feeling of unease had been building in Paul – after ruling out gas, Paul identified the feeling was the realization that life wasn’t supposed to be all work and no play.

Within months, Paul quit his job and with his family, moved to a small town in Western Canada – Nelson, British Columbia.

Fantastic:

More balanced life – check.
Career – not so much.

Now what?

Paul spent a couple of months navel gazing before, thankfully, receiving a book that would touch him deeply and change his life forever. It was a simple book called Change the World for a Fiver and it was the beginning of his new career.

From the book, he took Action #35 (write to someone who inspires you) to heart and wrote to the authors of the book, asking them to let him re-write and publish the Canadian version.

In January of 2007, Change The World For Ten Bucks – 50 Actions to change the world and make you feel great hit the top ten bestsellers list in Canada and Paul found himself in an exciting new career [phew!].

He began speaking to audiences, large and small, all across the country, offering inspirational words and concrete actions to help communities and businesses further embrace sustainability.

Then he launched Inspire Enterprise – applying the same small actions, BIG impact principle to the workplace with over 50 new actions to change the world at work. Along-side the actions came The Action Tracker, a web-based tool enabling people, communities and companies to track, measure and celebrate their sustainability actions.

With Inspire Enterprise, Paul wants to move away from the ever present doom and gloom scenarios and instead to focus on inspiration, action and impact. Paul’s infectious, positive attitude and boundless energy along with his extensive experience in the corporate world makes him a perfect fit for companies wanting to inspire their employees to make a difference, no matter what stage they’re at on the road to sustainability.
